After two years without so much as a whisper, does it surprise anyone that I am infact not dead at all? I feel so incredibly old. The last journal I wrote on this thing was a celebration post for my turning legal, and now I'm twenty. I've come back to find that all my old friends have graduated and are working in the big, wide world. I AM SO OLD I AM SO OLD I AM SO OLD.

So well all know that yesterday I turned the big ONE EIGHT, and I have to say, it certainly rocks being able to do (almost) anything. Except I am findind it sort of weird that I can now go clubbing, get into bars, buy my own alcohol and gamble. On my first day of being EIGHTEEN Vicky took me to the Crown Casino in the city. I think I see the city in a completely new light because I can go to every single damn bar. We failed at trying to get into the Casino without having to show our IDs but if it were up to me I would have worn my ID on a necklace just to make sure everyone knew I was EIGHTEEN. It was quite funny because I was completely awe

Today is the first day of my entire life that I can say.. I'M GOING TO BE AN ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEER!!!! ..and it could actually be true. Well in four years time anyway, because believe it or not I've been accepted into the course at Monash University. OH YEH! Sure it's not Melbourne Uni but I was never really fussed (although I'll now have to take back all the comments I said about Melbourne being elite...well that's me, being a contradiction again). Anyway, this most definately deserves some DANCE DANCE DANCING. How I wish I could have my fellow to-be-studying-engineering-at-Monash friend, Abz, here with me so we can hug each other like
